Unity Health Insurance (Unity) has been proud to give you access to high quality health care and dedicated customer service. In order to serve you better now and in the future, we have joined forces with Gundersen Health Plan, and on October 1, 2017, we are changing our brand names to Quartz.
What You Like About Having Unity, You'll Love About Having Quartz
Because you have Unity, your transition to Quartz may feel seamless. You’ll continue to have access to your doctors, along with the same high-quality coverage and customer service you can get from Unity. You’ll get:
The tri-fold mailing contains important information for members about the new brand - including the new look of their ID Cards.

During the next year, when you renew your plan or request replacement ID cards, you’ll receive new ID cards with the Quartz logo. Until that time, continue to use your ID card with the Unity logo.
As Quartz grows, so do the provider networks we offer. This means, depending on plan network structure, Unity members can have access to the local physicians of UW Health, UnityPoint Health – Meriter and Gundersen Health System, including specialty care at UW Health’s American Family Children’s Hospital and UW Health’s University Hospital – rated best in Wisconsin by U.S. News and World Report.*
We’re staying local. More importantly, we will maintain our local roots in the communities we serve. Doing so allows us to offer products and services that fit your lifestyle and ensures you get the care you need – where you need it. And because we live and work where you do, you can be confident that we’re committed to making every community we touch not only healthier, but also happier.
