An e-Visit is available to Unity members age 18 and older who have a UW Health PCP. It's an online visit between you and a doctor or nurse about certain types of health problems.

It only takes about 15 minutes. Just answer some simple questions online. A doctor or nurse will check your medical records and reply within two business hours. e-Visits are an easy, fast and private way to get care for these health problems.

e-Visit Access

If you are 18 years of age or older and have a UW Health Primary Care Physician (PCP), you can use UW Health’s e-Visits.

Allow 10 – 15 minutes to complete the e-Visit. To be secure, the system does not allow you to save a draft and continue at a later time.

 e-Visit Steps

  1. Login to MyChartMyChart link
  2. On the MyChart homepage, select "e-Visits" from the dashboard.
  3. Choose "Continue" to start e-Visit.
  4. Review payment requirements (if any) and select "Start e-Visit".
  5. Select your health problem from list of choices to begin.

e-Visit Cost

The cost of your e-Visit will show when you select e-Visit within MyChart. If there is a fee for your e-Visit, you will be asked to provide your credit card information at the start of your e-Visit (The fee does not include the cost of other things such as medicine, tests or X-rays, if needed).  e-Visits can be cancelled without charge at any time before the “submit” button is clicked. Also, if it is determined that an office visit is better for your problem, there will be no charge for the e-Visit.
