Employment Application Policy

 

To remain in compliance with our Affirmative Action Plan, all resumes and applications received for open positions at Unity will be recorded. Each applicant is offered an opportunity to identify their race and sex on a voluntary basis. The following Applicant Policy has been adopted  ̶


  • Applications and resumes will be accepted only when there is an open and/or posted position
  • Unsolicited resumes will not be considered nor will they be retained
  • All applicants must specify the job(s) for which they are applying. Applicants may not indicate "any job" on the application form. A listing of open positions is supplied via Unity’s web site or can be requested by the applicant.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All applications are screened to determine the minimum qualifications as stated on the position’s job description. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview
  • After the hiring manager / supervisor reviews the applications, final candidates will be notified by telephone for an interview
  • Unity conducts reference checks before extending an offer to any candidate
  • All employment offers are contingent upon the results of a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen 

Applications will be considered active for 60 days. After that period, applicants will be required to reapply if another position becomes available
