Infant, Childhood, and Adolescent Immunizations

Immunizations are important to protect infants and children against potentially harmful diseases. Some childhood immunizations require a booster dose in order to make sure a person is fully protected. A number of immunizations are needed for adolescents. The recommended schedule is shown below.

Check here for the CDC’s answers to common questions about childhood immunizations.  And did you know that immunizations are required for children to enter daycare and school? Make sure to check the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for the most up-to-date school and daycare immunization requirements.

Unity wants to reward parents for having their kids fully immunized! Fill it in & Win is a drawing for fully immunized two-year-old members. See Unity’s Fill it in & Win for more information about the drawing.

Adult Immunizations

Some childhood immunizations require a booster dose in adulthood in order to make sure a person is fully protected. In addition, there are new vaccinations required for adults based on age, sex, lifestyle, travel, chronic conditions, and other factors. The recommended schedule is shown below.
