Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a six-week workshop developed and tested by Stanford University. The skills taught in this workshop can help members deal with their conditions to lead a more productive life.

The workshop is taught by two trained leaders and meets for 2½ hours, once per week for six weeks. Visit the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources (GWARR) website to find or request a workshop in your area, or call the Arthritis Foundation Wisconsin Chapter Information and Referral number at 800-242-9945. The workshop is open to adults 18 and older.
You can also attend the workshop online. The online workshop, Better Health, Better ChoicesTM, teaches the same skills as the in-person programs. Those who enroll can log onto the sessions from any computer with an Internet connection, including dial-up, at any time. At your convenience, you can:

The cost of a local workshop and book are reimbursable to a maximum of $50. Family, friends, and caregivers are welcome to attend; however, only Unity members are eligible for reimbursement.
