Integrative Medicine
Integrative Medicine combines health care disciplines with a variety of therapeutic practices to promote health and healing.
Unity will reimburse members age 18 and older up to your Fitness First & More program maximum each calendar year for the following services:

Acupuncture consists of the gentle insertion of thin, disposable sterile needles at strategic points near the surface of the skin to stimulate the natural healing processes of the body in order to restore health and healing.

FeldenkraisTM is a one-on-one session that incorporates small, intentional physical movements with mental visualization to teach the body how to move more efficiently and effectively.

Healing Touch is a non-invasive bodywork technique where the practitioner's hands lightly touch or are held a few inches away from the body to increase the sense of physical and mental relaxation, reduce anxiety and stress, decrease pain and tension and improve well-being.

Massage Therapy and Bodywork are physical touch techniques that are used to stimulate blood flow to muscles in order to relieve muscular pain, induce relaxation and reduce stress.
Requirements for Reimbursement:
- You must be a Unity member on the date of your service.
- Services must be received from an eligible provider. Eligible providers include:

- Attach your itemized receipt to the completed Reimbursement Form. The itemized receipt must be from the provider and include the provider's name, address, telephone number, therapist's name and license number, your name, date of service, description of service, and amount paid. Submissions without this information will be returned to you.
Please note: Integrative Medicine services received from participating Unity medical providers, such as hospitals and chiropractors, do not qualify for reimbursement. Also, tips and gratuities are not reimbursable.
