Unity Receives Top 50 Health Insurance Plan Ranking for 2009

SAUK CITY, Wis. – Unity Health Insurance, an affiliate of UW Health and a leader in quality customer service and wellness programs, was ranked among the nation’s top 50 commercial health insurance plans according to the December 2009 issue of U.S. News & World Report.

U.S. News & World Report and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) ranked health insurance plans based on members’ satisfaction with their overall experience with the health insurance plan as well as the health insurance plan’s success at treating and preventing illnesses.

“We are honored to once again be named one of the nation’s top 50 health insurance plans,” said Terry Bolz, president and CEO of Unity Health Insurance. “Our commitment to member satisfaction and quality of care is shown through receiving this ranking for the past five years.”
