External Quality Standards
Unity continually monitors and evaluates its performance against rigorous national and regional standards through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). NCQA is dedicated to improving health care quality and it accomplishes this in three ways:

NCQA Accreditation: A thorough review of clinical and administrative processes to ensure that we deliver superior care and service
Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®):* A set of standardized clinical measures designed to ensure that consumers and purchasers have the information they need to reliably compare the performance of health plans
Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®):** A standardized survey of consumer experience that evaluates plan performance in areas such as customer service, access to care and claims processing
